Resolve ‘Recovered Messages’ problem on Mac Mail

Step 1. Take your email account offline in Mac Mail and delete the ‘Recovered Messages’ folder.

Step 2. Start a Terminal. ( /Applications/Utilities/Terminal )

Step 3. Go to ‘.OfflineCache’ folder.
( cd UserName/Library/Mail/IMAP-<username>@domain.tld@imap.domain.tld/.OfflineCache )

Step 4. Delete all data inside ‘.OfflineCache’. ( DO NOT delete the folder ‘.OfflineCache’ )

Step 5. Restart Mac Mail and take your email account online.
